Lets just simply put it. Heath Ledger portrayal as the legendary DC villain, "The Joker", simply stole our hearts and at the same time blew our minds. Though Jack Nicholson's Joker was good, it never really matched up to Heath Ledger. He presented The Joker as a distrubed, creepy and at the same time comical and insane villain. Seriously throughout history, I have never liked the villain more than the hero till now. His conversations in the movie are guaranteed a million times better than actions scenes in alot of movies. For example check this out, Two Face and Joker in the hospital. Simply great right? Haha. Basically the movie is focusing on 3 characters, Batman, Harvey Dent aka Two Face and The Joker. Movie starts off with a bank robbery with a pinch of class by Joker and co. . No one seemed to care about The Joker till his threats became worse. The Joker is actually trying to turn Gotham City's "Hero", Harvey Dent, who actually did alot of good into the movie, to someone bad. Thus Batman trying to stop him. Watch the movie to know more. In the end, Joker did not succeed in doing that. The only downfall of the movie is that Two Face dies. His lifespan in the comics were much longer and there are many stories behind the character Two Face. Other than that, the movie is filled with action accompanied by epic soundtracks. Joker's scenes were priceless and unforgettable and Batman's voice will get into your head somehow. Out of 10, i give 11. Would have been 12 if not for Two Face's Death
